The engagement: J-Z’s engagement session. Jatin and Zeena’s engagement session was on a pretty windy day in Dallas. We met at the American Airlines center and started our shoot there. I’m glad the weather cooperated with us overall and we were still able to get some nice shots of the happy couple. I can’t wait for their wedding in May! It’ll be a fun one and a multiple day wedding, so make sure you look out for wedding blog post in a few months.

The engagement: Lindsey and Sam’s engagement was fun and casual. I love it when couple’s like L & S have fun with their engagement session and incorporate some of their personal touches. One of the things that they added was their love for baseball & softball. You’ll see in the photos how they sported their Texas Rangers gear and even used a baseball for their save the date.

I had the opportunity to take some fun, family photos of Sofia and her two children. We met at the Stockyards in the north part of Fort Worth and walked around to capture some nice memories for them. Her son is pretty entertaining and reminds me of my daughter, with his charming personality. They’re even the same age and week apart.

Miriam is one of my current client’s for her upcoming wedding in April. She’s the first one to ask me for a portrait session for her graduation photos. Congrats by the way, since she graduated this past December with her Master’s and now works with children in speech therapy.
Miriam did tell me the day of her photo session that this was her gift to herself. That after being in school for five years and commuting on the last year it was worth it to have some memories of her big accomplishment. Congrats again Miriam!
