I feel that my amazing mother, Elena Rocha, deserves a free photoshoot and makeover. She is a mother of four girls and grandmother of 1 (soon to be 2)and is a very strong woman, even through a divorce. I am now 23 yrs old and still call on mommy when in need… she never turns me away, she is always there to support. I would love for my mother to win a makeover and photoshoot for Mother’s Day to make her feel appreciated and loved.
I want to nominate my daughter-in-law for the photoshoot and makeover. She is a young mother, wife and hardworker. She has suprised me at what a wonderful mother she is for being only 20. with a 9mo old baby working 10-12 hours and being a wife she never does anything for herself she’s the type that only thinks about the baby and everybody else. Since she had the baby she has never done anything for herself. We all know that at age 20 is when its all about me and what do I get me but not her she amazes me how she might work from dawn to dusk and still come home and spend time with the baby like she’s not tired. I would love for her to win this MAKEOVER for mother’s day it would mean the world to her. And thank you for doing this contest I’m sure the winner will be a very deserving mom!!!!
I know it may sound a bit selfish to nominate myself, but this is a step in doing something for me. The last two years of my life have been super stressful, but as I sit here and type the events out, I am reminded that everything happens for a reason. I would love to win the makeover and photoshoot because I have never had either. Wait..Yes, I have. My daughter fixed my hair once or twice, and my son likes to take pictures with my phone. My three children keep me busy, and though I wouldn’t have it any other way, it’s nice to have some Mommy time every now and then. Thanks for the opportunity!
I would like to nominate my daughter, Stacy Pickett, who just became a single mom due to a divorce. Stacy works extremely hard at her job as a supervisor and is under tremendous stress, but still finds time to enjoy, entertain, and raise properly her 7 year old son. She has done such a great job with him that he is dearly loved at his school and is recognized everywhere for his manners. Stacy is also very deeply involved in the Jim Braziel Memorial Fundraiser, which was created in memory of her father to honor him. The event raises money for Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Cardiac Rehab. Our goal is to prevent heart patients’ families from enduring the trauma such as our family experienced with the sudden loss of Stacy’s father and my husband. This fundraiser was developed by family members to honor his memory and also to show our deep gratitude to the cardiac staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. Perhaps by providing money to the cardiac rehab unit we may be instrumental in preventing heart disease in other people. There is a golf tournament followed by a raffle drawing. She is responsible for running the golf tournament portion and for being the MC at the event. I love my daughter with all my heart and would love to see her recognized for all her efforts.
Hey, were the winners chosen? I see someone entered after
The stated date – April 30 -that winners would be notified. Did I miss something that this was extended? If so, I nominate myself! I could use it!
