Walt Disney World | Anysa’s 15th Birthday Celebration

About three years ago we started planning a quinceanera for Anysa. We looked around at venues, had a list of the vendors we would use around the Dallas / Fort Worth area and then there was a change in the plans. Instead Anysa wanted a trip where she could bring a couple of friends and also her cousins. We scratched the original plan and then about 443 days before I started planning a destination birthday celebration. This is how we celebrated Anysa’s 15th birthday!

If you’re planning a trip to Disney World or Disneyland and want some family portraits while you’re out there contact me and I would love to be able to help you out. If you’re getting engaged, want engagement or wedding pictures at Walt Disney World, Disneyland or Destin, FL you can contact me too. Thanks!

See Ya Real Soon!

This was the last photo I took of Kristen as we left our hotel room to begin our road trip to head back home to Dallas. Our first day at Magic Kingdom and we had to capture a photo in front of the main entrance. Kristen loves taking pictures and she’ll actually pose for me. Here are a couple in front of the tree at the Main St circle with the toy soldiers. A quick group photo before heading towards the rides! Shortly after this photo Kristen and I rushed to get in line to meet Anna and Elsa. Anysa in front of the castle on Christmas Eve and the day we celebrated her birthday! If you arrive early enough you can avoid the large crowds and get some pretty cool photos in front of the castle or with cool old fashion cars like this one. This is the princess hall. We waited here to meet Anna and Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen. I captured a few snapshots of Elsa as she was awaiting for her next guest. Doesn’t she look royal with the way she stands. Queen Elsa awaiting to greet guests. Here is Princess Anna! I know many people have Elsa as their favorite, but Anna is really funny. You need to see how she acts and has the kids laughing. Now Kristen’s moment where she had the chance to meet Queen Elsa. We couldn’t skip this photo op! Minnie Mouse dressed as Elsa from Frozen. A different view of Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney WorldA different view of Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. One of Anysa’s favorite villain characters – Lady Tremaine. Kristen was a little afraid of them.  We really enjoyed breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table. The princesses come by your table and take photos with you. It helps you avoid the long lines at the meet and greets. Kristen even spotted Gus and Jaq on the wall. A few of the photographs of Anysa and Kristen with the Disney Princesses. They were surprised when our server brought out these dark chocolate Cinderella style slippers. They were dark chocolate slippers filled with chocolate mousse. They also make a white chocolate slipper. I wanted it to be like a quinceanera, so I made sure to order her a tiara. They brought it out on a purple pillow. Exiting the castle after breakfast. One of their favorite rides – Mad Tea Party spinning tea cups. One of Kristen’s favorite rides is Dumbo – She tricked me into riding it with her. The Bibbidi Bobbdi Boutique is a cool experience for little girls that want to have a makeover to be dressed up like a princess. The Disney Frozen gingerbread display at the Disney’s Contemporary Resort We continued the celebration with breakfast at Chef Mickey’s on Christmas Day. Then did a little bit of resort hopping. You can view the life-size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort. The Magic Kingdom Ballet folklorico and mariachi at Epcot The fireworks at Epcot are amazing! It was a beautiful show and definitely a must see. I don’t know if they’re only this magnificent during Christmas time, but it was worth staying for. In past visits I had not seen the Magic Kingdom sign or probably missed it. This time I wanted to document the various places we went to. Here we go again on the tea cups and yet I was tricked again into going on the ride. On this day Kristen and I were together for most of the morning and early afternoon. Everyone else was doing their own thing. We took advantage of the short lines and got on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Little Mermaid and just took random photos in Fantasyland. We went to Belle’s Cottage for the first time and Kristen was chosen to be Mrs. Potts. A Go Pro shot on the carousel. Frozen sing a long was funny. I have the video of it on you tube if you want to check it out.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4V9b6b8bIM&list=UUfRcx_i_ECkj1liSfX3h7GA A variety of photos at Disney Hollywood Studios. The Christmas parade at the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve. Our first stop on our road trip was Destin, Fl. It is very beautiful! Part of our group of 25 people. Kristen and her cousin Camila. Jedi Training Academy Our last night at Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. This was my last photo I took of Cinderella’s Castle as we were walking out to head back to our resort; Art of Animation.
