Fort Worth Wedding Photographer | Cesar + Joanna’s Weatherford Wedding at Willow Lake Gardens

Fort Worth Wedding Photographer Monica Salazar photographed Cesar & Joanna’s beautiful, country and rustic style wedding at Willow Lake Gardens in Weatherford, TX.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of capturing Cesar and Joanna’s wedding day celebration! Due to their busy schedules we weren’t able to take their engagement photos, but they will be taking bride and groom portraits some time after they’re back from their honeymoon.

Cesar and Joanna had a beautiful wedding despite the bad weather that stuck around for part of their wedding day. Everyone was glad that the sun came out for their wedding ceremony. It was quite windy and Cesar’s hat and Joanna’s veil blew away and off a few times, but the emotions and feelings of the wedding ceremony and union of marriage were still there. I’m glad that they didn’t let mother nature ruin their wedding day. The storm rolled in shortly after their wedding ceremony. We were able to capture their family group photos and quite a few of the bride and groom too. You’ll see below that I posted quite a few of the bride and groom. I loved how genuine they were with another and they weren’t shy at all. You’ll also see all the decor and other items that Joanna made for their country, rustic style wedding.

Congratulations again and I hope you two are enjoying the beach!

Details, details, details… These photos were important for the mother of the bride. She made sure that we had all the items the bride and groom were going to be using during the wedding ceremony rituals.
“Las Arras” or you can also call them the unity coins. It’s a tradition used in Catholic weddings, but I have seen it used quite a bit in other religious ceremonies that are non-Catholic.
The fireplace mantle at the Willow Lakes Garden venue. The bride and groom included their baby portraits on the mantle.
The groom walking down the side aisle and making his way to the gazebo for their outdoor wedding ceremony in Fort Worth, TX.
It’s so lovely to see a groom get emotional and teary eyed as he see’s his bride and soon to be wife for the first time as she walks down the aisle.
An emotional hug between the groom and his mother.
The bride and groom checking their cell phones to see if the storm cells will miss the wedding reception.
The brude and groom’s last dance outside of the wedding reception. Even though they didn’t get to dance their first dance as planned, they were able to sneak away for a few minutes.
