Dakota and Kelsey are engaged!
For their engagement session they wanted a location that would incorporate a bit of a wine theme. At this location we were lucky that the vineyards weren’t dry and that we could use them for their engagement photos. The day of their engagement session was pretty cold and they were brave to withstand the breezy winds. I’m not quite sure how they managed, because Dakota’s hands kept turning a slight shade of purple. They also brought a few props that they wanted to incorporate into their session. The scrabble pieces in their hands were a different twist to the usual save the date shot. Plus, I really loved the photos with the quilt Kelsey’s mom made her and the one with the kiss behind the book!
They’re seriously one of the cutest couples I have met and so fun to hang out with. I probably watch a lot of movies, but Kelsey reminds me a little bit of Emma Stone and Dakota reminds me a bit of Ryan Gosling. Who do you think they resemble? I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day at Piazza in the Village in Colleyville next summer!
