Congratulations on your engagement! Planning a wedding can be an exciting and overwhelming experience. Here are some steps to help you get started:

  1. Set a budget: Determine how much money you and your fiancé are comfortable spending on the wedding. This will help guide your decisions and keep you on track.
  2. Create a guest list: Make a rough estimate of the number of guests you would like to invite to your wedding. This will give you an idea of the size of the venue you’ll need to look for.
  3. Choose a date and venue: Decide on a date and venue for the wedding. Keep in mind that popular venues may book up quickly, so it’s a good idea to start this step early.
  4. Hire a wedding planner or start to plan on your own: Decide whether you want to hire a wedding planner to help with the planning process or if you’d like to plan the wedding yourself.
  5. Choose your vendors: Start looking for and booking vendors for your wedding, such as a caterer, photographer, florist, and music.
  6. Select your wedding party: Decide on who you would like to have as your bridesmaids and groomsmen.
  7. Start shopping for your dress and tuxedo: Start looking for and trying on wedding attire to find the perfect dress and tuxedo for your big day.

Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the process! Good luck!
