Lindsey and Michael are married! They had a super fun wedding at the Fort Worth Zoo!

I met Lindsey and her mom a few months ago and was excited when they contacted me to photograph the wedding. I had done an engagement session in the past at the Fort Worth Zoo, but now this was a little different. Plus, it was a little special for me, since my first job was working at the Fort Worth Zoo in the gift shop.

When I arrived to Lindsey’s hotel room the first thing I noticed was the confetti in the bedroom. Then they showed me the multiple color shoes that she and the bridesmaids would be wearing. This was definitely the beginning of how festive the wedding would be.

Lindsey and Michael had their wedding day first look on the entrance bridge of the zoo. Then we had time to take some bride and groom portraits. This couple was pretty lucky that all the animals were ready to be in their wedding photos captured by Fort Worth Wedding Photographer, Monica Salazar. You’ll have to check out one of my favorites from the World of Primates. We were walking out of the zoo when they told me that they really wanted some photos with the monkeys, but they were all gone. We went inside and got lucky that three of the gorillas were hanging around and didn’t mind being seen. I think some even posed for us.

They had a beautiful wedding ceremony on a deck behind the gallery and a fun wedding reception. They even had a few zoo animals join them at the beginning of their Fort Worth Zoo Wedding.
